Using Namespaces

Namespaces can be used to organize components, to simplify the naming, and to avoid name conflicts, see TPT Modeling Language - Namespaces.

You can refer to a signal with namespaces with its long name, for example piketec::component2::sig1, or with its short name sig1. To use the short name, enter the namespace in the Using namespaces field. Separate several namespaces by a comma.

The short name might be identical with another signal name. To avoid conflicts, see Avoid ambiguous signal names.
